Role: Commercial Manager - EV Infrastructure
Salary: Up to £60,000 + other benefits
Location: Remote with a London-based office if you choose to use it

The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of deal creation within the construction or EV charging infrastructure sectors, paired with outstanding interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating across multiple departments, including sales and engineering, conducting client meetings to understand specific needs, and demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will also have experience managing lease agreements, including implementing systems to track lease expirations, negotiating renewals, and building strong relationships with landowners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with sales and technical teams to prepare bids and tenders for EV charging infrastructure projects.
* Lead client meetings to understand specific project requirements and align these with the company’s service offerings.
* Work closely with project management teams to establish budgets, timelines, and payment terms.
* Draft and negotiate contracts for EV charging projects, ensuring alignment with legal and technical standards, with support from financial and legal advisors.
* Implement and maintain a system to track lease agreements, ensuring visibility of upcoming expirations and deadlines.
* Negotiate lease renewals with landowners, ensuring agreements remain competitive and beneficial for all parties.
* Maintain detailed records of contracts and lease agreements, ensuring compliance with obligations and acting as the primary client contact during the negotiation phase.
* Identify opportunities for efficiencies or added value within the scope of each project.
Requirements for Success:
* Proven experience in commercial management, preferably within the construction, renewable energy, or EV charging sectors.
* Strong understanding of legal documentation related to construction or infrastructure projects, including lease agreements.
* Excellent organisational and management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
* Experience in implementing tracking systems or processes to monitor key contract and lease deadlines.
* Self-motivated and capable of solving challenges in dynamic environments.
* Exceptional verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently present proposals to clients, stakeholders, and landowners.
