Teaching Assistant Full-Time Sign Language Experience Required BS13 A fabulous Primary School in the BS13 area of South Bristol is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work closely within a Resource Based classroom for children with hearing impairments. This highly regarded Primary School is supportive to pupils, parents and their staff. They have a Special Educational Needs unit as part of their school where children with additional needs work closely with staff members to challenge themselves but learn and grow at their own pace. The Role As a successful candidate, you will be working closely with a number of SEND Teaching Assistants with great experience. You will be working within a class of 4 children who each have hearing impairment needs. You will be expected to deliver rich learning experiences that empower children to embrace their curiosity. You will be expected to: Have high expectations of the pupil you will be working with. Previous experience working with children. Have knowledge of Sign Language. Resource creative activities to meet the needs of the pupil. Communicate closely with the families.
