Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals for individual development. Encourage a passion for learning by using a variety of teaching methods and resources that engage students. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and external professionals to support students' academic and personal development. Implement school policies and the curriculum effectively to ensure students meet their learning objectives. Manage classroom behaviour in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a respectful and positive learning environment. Support students’ social, emotional and personal growth, helping them to develop into confident and well-rounded individuals. Participate in school meetings, events and professional development opportunities to continually improve your teaching practice. Primary Classroom Teacher Job Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent teaching qualification. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) status, or Trainee Teacher status. A strong passion for teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable, though not essential for the right candidate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A commitment to the welfare and development of children, with a focus on fostering inclusivity and equality.
