Schedule: Monday to Friday – Days
My client, a market leader within their sector, is looking for a HR Business Partner to join the team and support the HR function across a fast-paced facility. This opportunity offers long-term job security and career development opportunities.
Role Description
* Ensuring all starters and leavers are entered on the payroll system.
* Managing performance of current employees.
* Absence management reporting.
* Generating reports and data to quantify performance and skills.
* Developing and implementing new processes to help the organization offer a better workplace for staff.
* Assisting with employee disciplinaries and grievances.
* Offering orientation and other aspects of new employee onboarding.
* Sitting on company committees to provide feedback and ways to improve the resources available to employees.
* Mentoring Managers to improve their people skills.
* Overseeing compliance requirements.
* Updating policies, procedures, and the staff handbook.
* Ensuring new starter inductions are completed.
* Following up on performance concerns and disciplinary action with staff members.
* Inputting payroll on a monthly basis and dealing with payroll queries.
* Working on bonus and pay increase budgets.
Skills and Qualifications
* Sensitivity in handling confidential issues.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Experience with benefits, employee resources, and employment laws and regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills to provide guidance and assistance to employees within the department as well as throughout the company.
* Experience within a manufacturing background.
