Health & Safety (SHEQ) Co-ordinator Coventry £40,000– £45,000 per year Car Benefits Full-time | Permanent About the Company: Our client is a successful and growing regional contractor based in Coventry, with over 40 years of industry experience. Originally founded in Groundworks, they now deliver a wide range of projects in Commercial, Industrial, Education, and Automotive construction. With a turnover of £8–10 million and approximately 200 live projects per year, they’re continuing to expand and are now looking for a Health & Safety (SHEQ) Co-ordinator to join their busy head office team. Role Overview: As the SHEQ Co-ordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are consistently met across all projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from site audits to compliance reporting and policy implementation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage all H&S documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and site packs Deliver toolbox talks and support a positive safety culture on-site Maintain industry accreditations such as Construction Line Gold, Safe Contractor, and Achilles Building Confidence Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 standards Work closely with site teams and senior leadership to support continuous improvement What We’re Looking For: Experience in construction, civils, or groundworks is essential NEBOSH qualified Strong understanding of CDM regulations Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Approx. 5 years of experience in a similar role What’s On Offer: Salary up to £45,000 per year (DOE) Company car or car allowance Pension scheme Opportunities for career development and progression A supportive work culture and commitment to work-life balance Involvement in a variety of exciting projects across the Midlands
