Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Assembly Technician / Production Technician / Manufacturing Technician Overview
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assembly / Production Technician to join a successful engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury. The company is going through a period of rapid expansion and has just completed a substantial extension of their state-of-the-art HQ.
The Assembly Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality manner.
You will occasionally be required to do fault finding, test and repairs on their products too, however the bulk of the role is focusing on the build of the products. The products are a combination of electronics and mechanics, and are fairly small/intricate so a good eye for detail is important.
In terms of requirements, they are looking for keen and attentive individuals who are looking to accelerate their learning and skill set. You will need to have good timekeeping skills, a good communicator and of course have a strong engineering / technical background.
The business are open to hearing from individuals who are very experienced, but also love to hear from applicants who have limited experience but a passion for technology, perhaps with some level of technical education.
Assembly / Production Technician Requirements
* Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment
* Knnowledge of both electrical, electronic and mechanical components
* Able to read and follow build drawings and instructions
* A technical qualification (BTEC, HNC/D, Apprenticeship etc)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records for all products dealt with
* Driven and reliable
