Position: Project Manager
Location: Dudley – Full Time
Mitie are recruiting for a new Project Manager to join the PFI Healthcare team to lead on the management and delivery of project works on time and within budget, generating and executing various projects on customer sites.
What are the main responsibilities?
You will work to deliver project plans and act as a trusted advisor to the on-site team and stakeholders ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and QHSE practices. As the point of contact on-site, you will oversee the day-to-day project operations including costs, business cases, documentation, and overall P&L responsibilities.
You will also:
1. Manage tenders and subcontractor work including RAMs.
2. Identify and manage project risks.
3. Plan for project mobilisation and delivery.
4. Build strong relationships with customers, site teams, and internal departments.
5. Implement construction phase plans.
6. Complete O&M manuals before practical completion.
What are we looking for?
To be successful, you will have extensive experience working within a Project Management role with a strong commercial and financial background in a PFI or complex FM contract. You'll have a detailed background with CDM 2015 and Project Management methodologies as well as experience in P&L management, cost control, and risk management.
Ideally, your experience will be within RIBA stages, NEC and JCT contracts, and you will hold an SMSTS certification and a NEBOSH qualification. Client engagement and people leadership are key focuses of this role, so you must be able to communicate effectively and be a dedicated leader.
