We are a fast-growing recruitment agency specializing in the education sector, dedicated to connecting schools with the best teaching talent. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive Recruitment Consultant to aid our agencies expansion across the South West of England.
Job Overview:
The role would involve working with existing clients utilising growth from existing business from schools and education settings in an area of the South West and will involve winning new business building up a client base. You will play a key role in filling bookings, managing relationships with schools and teachers, answering calls, registering new teachers, and assisting with invoice queries. Your contribution will help drive the continued growth of the business by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high levels of service for our clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Filling Bookings: Collaborate with recruitment consultants to efficiently resource and fill temporary and permanent placements for teachers in schools.
2. Direct sales to both existing and new clients: Ensuring growth of your area through sales communication, over the telephone, through schools visits, email communication and social media.
3. Client & Candidate Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, teachers, and other clients. Handle phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally.
4. Teacher Registration: Assist with the registration process for new teachers, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate to maintain a high-quality candidate pool.
5. Invoice Support: Respond to and assist with any invoice queries, ensuring smooth and timely billing and supporting the financial side of the recruitment process.
6. Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to recruitment consultants, helping manage candidate and client information, and ensuring all operations run smoothly.
7. On Call Support: Providing out of hours support for on-call bookings and enquiries, on at least one evening a week, and one weekend a month.
Key Requirements:
1. Previous experience in customer-facing roles, i.e., retail, hospitality, or sales (experience within the education sector is a plus).
2. A ‘go getter’, someone who is self-motivated and productive.
3. Full UK Driving License (and confidence driving in rural areas!).
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to build rapport with clients and candidates, demonstrating professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to assist recruitment consultants in overcoming challenges.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment software (training can be provided if necessary).
