Senior Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £47,000pa + shift allowance + project bonuses

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to take the lead in supporting job resourcing, planning / prioritising, repairs, preventative and continual development of all production equipment within the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control scope of the Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance, calibration, repairs, and setup of production equipment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Communicate work instructions and prioritise activities to align with production plans and business needs
Oversee maintenance, calibration, repairs, and setup of production equipment, ensuring compliance with guidelines and practices
Engage with planning activities to support priorities, resources, and maintenance requirements
Document shift handovers and important information for effective communication
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures
Ensure safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company requirements
Make technical decisions and support the development of the team
Qualifications
HNC or equivalent formal qualification in the main discipline
Full indentured apprenticeship with experience and additional study
A strong Multi-skilled background - both Mechanical and Electrical skills are required
A 17th / 18th Edition would be preferred, but this is not essential
Experience of taking the lead within a team
Ability to perform Engineering and Maintenance activities to a high standard on Pharmaceutical and associated equipment
GMP training and experience is preferred
Experience within Pharma / Food / Brewery / Dairy / Petrochemical industries
Flexibility to work a double-days shift pattern
