Job Title: Emissions Marking Business Process Specialist
Location: Peterborough – hybrid working pattern available
Salary: £52,380 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)

About LPSD
The Caterpillar Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) has locations across the world where large engine platforms for multiple Caterpillar brands are developed, designed, and manufactured to be used in oil & gas, electric power, marine, rail and Cat machine applications. LPSD also designs and manufactures drivetrains and the four key engine systems -- fuel systems, air systems, aftertreatment systems and cooling systems that determine the cost and performance trajectory of most Caterpillar engines and machines.
Caterpillar’s Emissions & Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) Group is accountable for interpreting, communicating and leading the enterprise to a strong position of global emissions regulatory compliance. The EPRC Group has a global footprint, including approximately 20 staff located in the UK (Peterborough), dedicated to supporting the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD-M).
Job Summary
The UK Emissions Marking Team are recruiting for the position of Emissions Marking Business Process Specialist, this team is part of the wider Caterpillar EPRC organisation and are responsible for overseeing the Certification and Labelling of all engines manufactured for the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD-M).
The Emissions Marking Business Process Specialist will be focused on supporting the design and development of systems and data management required to ensure all Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD-M) engines are labelled in accordance with worldwide emissions regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working with business systems, data management, application design, requirements gathering, system integration and system testing.
What You Will Do:
1. Develop expertise in the Caterpillar bespoke Certification Data Management (CDM) and Enterprise Label Printing System (ELPS) systems for all emissions marking related functionality.
2. Champion for all new emissions marking systems development from requirements gathering through to user acceptance testing.
3. Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities for emissions marking related processes and tools.
4. Provide support for team related project requirements.
5. Become fluent in all relevant emission regulatory product marking requirements and provide regulatory guidance to the business on engine emissions compliance marking.
6. Lead / champion resolution of emissions marking related issues.
7. Hands-on execution of emissions marking processes supporting both production and post-production processes for multiple production facilities.
