About The Role
CHARITY MANAGER
£8400 pa (£175 x 48 days)
The Sylvia Short Educational Charity is looking for someone to work with the board in taking the charity forward in terms of its organisation and outcomes. The principal responsibilities of this new post are:
1. To manage and develop the allocation of grants;
2. To improve communication with Herefordshire schools, colleges and partner institutions;
3. To raise the profile and presence of the charity in the county;
4. To discharge duties as secretary to the board.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Proven administrative expertise and preferably experience of working with a board;
2. Very good verbal and written communication skills;
3. A high level of IT skills;
4. The ability to represent the charity effectively as required.
The postholder will be a self-employed homeworker.
