We have an immediate requirement for an Interim Financial Controller near to Basildon.
It is envisaged that this will be for a minimum of 4 months whilst the recruitment of a Permanent FC takes place (the right candidate may be suitable for temp to perm role).
On offer is a competitive day rate package, but candidates are required to work ON SITE.
A brief outline of the role is below:
* A leading manufacturer, £30m+ turnover
* Leading and managing finance team
* Sage 200 software experience
* Managing transactional team and overseeing and reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger (mostly foreign currency), credit cards, expenses, cash posting, and all general ledger entries.
* Responsibility for Group Entities
* Stock valuation and reporting (complex GIT & stock accrual process)
* Cash flow management
* VAT, PAYE and Tax duties, including corporation tax.
* Processing Payroll
* Preparation of and review of consolidated Management Accounts
This is an interim assignment (minimum 4 months) but with the possibility that the right candidate could take the permanent role (they are also searching for a FT candidate).
You must be:
* Experienced FC / FD
* Able to hit the ground running
* Immediately available and able to work on site
