Job Responsibilities:
As a Millwork Carpenter, your expertise will play a key role in the successful completion of projects, ensuring each component meets our client’s high standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Blueprint Mastery: Interpret complex architectural and shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints to bring concepts to life with precision.
Advanced Machine Operation: Set up and operate cutting-edge woodworking machinery (including saws, milling, and sanding machines) to craft components to exact specifications.
Expert Fabrication: Utilize your skills to fabricate custom components with exacting standards using various woodworking techniques.
Finishing Touches: Apply your craftsmanship to assemble, trim, and finish pieces, ensuring they are ready for installation and meet project quality standards.
Maintain Equipment Excellence: Perform regular maintenance on woodworking machinery to ensure peak performance and long-lasting functionality.
Cabinet Installation Support: Assist with the installation of cabinetry when needed, ensuring each piece fits seamlessly into its designated space.
Skills:
We're seeking an experienced professional who brings both technical skill and craftsmanship to every project. Ideal candidates will have:
Extensive Experience: 10+ years of hands-on woodworking experience or in a related field, demonstrating a deep knowledge of millwork and carpentry.
CNC Expertise: Proven experience in CNC programming and design, and the ability to work with modern CNC machinery.
Proficiency in Design Software: Familiarity with Cabinetvision or similar design software to bring your visions to life.
Custom Fabrication Expertise: Experience with dowel case goods, plastic laminate work, and other custom fabrication techniques.
Sharp Technical Skills: A keen ability to interpret technical drawings, perform material takeoffs, and calculate material needs accurately.
Preferred Qualifications: Training in automated machinery, especially CNC, and a strong understanding of computer applications in woodworking.
Safety Conscious: OSHA-10 Certification (or the ability to obtain it) is required.
Pay Range: $30/hr.-$40/hr.
