As we continue to expand our digital presence, we are looking for a talented PPC/SEO Specialist to drive our online visibility and grow our customer base.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven PPC/SEO Specialist who has a strong understanding of both paid search campaigns and search engine optimisation techniques, with a particular focus on driving traffic, conversions, and online sales for our products. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising our paid advertising and organic search strategies to increase visibility, improve ROI, and contribute to revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:
1. PPC Campaign Management:
o Plan, execute, and optimise paid search (PPC) campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media platforms.
o Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and bid management to ensure optimal ad placements and cost efficiency.
o Create compelling ad copy and landing pages tailored to specific audiences in the IT hardware sector.
o Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant tools.
o Conduct A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies to maximize conversion rates.
o Manage budget allocation to ensure ROI targets are met and exceeded.
o Continuously explore new opportunities for paid advertising, including remarketing and display advertising.
2. SEO Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and visibility for key IT hardware-related search terms.
o Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis specific to the refurbished IT hardware industry.
o Optimise website content, internal linking, and structure for search engines.
o Work with the Marketing Executive to develop SEO-friendly blogs, articles, and product descriptions.
o Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, etc.).
o Build and manage backlink strategies to increase domain authority and improve rankings.
o Monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, and implement adjustments as needed.
3. Analytics & Reporting:
o Generate regular performance reports for both PPC and SEO campaigns, providing insights on traffic, conversions, keyword rankings, and ROI.
o Use data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
o Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to enhance overall marketing strategies.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
o Collaborate with the Marketing Executive and Sales team to create SEO-friendly content and ensure campaigns align with business goals.
o Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
o Provide guidance to senior stakeholders and marketing colleagues on best practices for SEO and PPC campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience (at least five years) in managing PPC campaigns and executing SEO strategies, ideally within an e-commerce and/or technology-based industry.
* Proficient in using PPC platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising tools.
* Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
* Excellent understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, technical SEO, and keyword research.
* Analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
* Ability to create clear statistical SEO and PPC reports and confidently present these to senior stakeholders.
* Strong copywriting skills for ad copy and SEO content.
* Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of IT hardware and the technology sector is desirable.
* Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications preferred.
* Strong Excel or data analysis skills.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary of £40k-£42k.
