Contracts Manager \nNewcastle area \n£50,000 - £55,000 + car/allowance\nWe are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to manage a multi-site contract covering sites in the Northeast. Working for the M+E division of a well-known FM company, this role manages engineering services to commercial clients including Gas, A/C and Electrics. You will manage team of M+E engineers across the sites who are responsible for the day-to-day ppm and reactive maintenance of the building facilities.
P+L is circa £1m for your mixed commercial portfolio.\n\nThe role is a mix of working from home, the Newcastle office and visiting several other sites as required around the North East.\n\nBenefits of the role include:\n\nCompany Car or £5,000 allowance\n25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays\nBonus Scheme\nLife Cover x2 Annual Salary\nGym membership Discounts\nShopping Discount Schemes\nTraining and professional qualifications scheme\nEmployee assistance and wellbeing program 24/7\nDuties of the role include:\n\nManaging all hard services provisions across several sites, managing a team of engineers.\nStaff training, development and reviews.\nTo manage the client service delivery and contract KPI's over a number of locations\nTo be accountable for the financial performance of the contract\nTo develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the client\nManage all SHEQ requirements across the sites and conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.\nTo manage all technical compliance across the contract.\nTo work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company's asset management system.\nTo manage subcontractors and negotiate rates.\nTo drive the profitability of the contract and manage the P+L.\nGenerate sales and cost saving initiatives as appropriate.\nTo regularly meet with the client to further understand their organisation and requirements.\nThe Applicant:\n\nThe ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:\n\nTechnical background Essential - city and guilds or NVQ in mechanical discipline is preferred\nEngineering management experience\nExperience of using a CAFM system and managing KPI's\nP+L/ Financial experience
