Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a deputy manager to work within our client's residential home in Burnham-on-sea. The client is looking for someone experienced to join the team and assist the home manager on recruitment, supervisions/reviews, disciplinaries and helping out on the floor when needed.
* £30,000 - £32,000 (Negotiable for the right person)
* Full time, permanent contract.
* Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
* Saturday and Sunday: 7:15am - 3:00pm.
* You will be required to do alternative weekend working initially then this will drop to working 1 weekend out of the 4.
Deputy Manager Must Haves:
* Must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum
* Must have prior experience as a deputy manager within a residential care home for at least 2 years.
* Must be IT literate and be competent using IT systems (Word, Excel etc)
Deputy Manager Main Duties:
* Assist the home manager with recruitment enquiries and helping to staff the team effectively.
* Complete supervisions/reviews with existing staff members.
* Complete medication audits and ensure medication records are maintained accurately.
* Update and create care plans and risk assessments for residents.
* Assist the manager in dealing with resident and family enquiries.
