Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the e-Enablement Business Intelligence Reporting Team to work as part of the e-Enablement Procure-to-Pay Team, who are responsible for supporting a number of functional aspects to support Procurement Services, Accounts Payable, and Health Board/Trusts. These range from system technical developments, system training, business intelligence reporting, and e-catalogue content management. Surrounding this is business process improvements.
The e-Enablement Procure-to-Pay team are responsible for supporting Procurement Services and Accounts Payable to develop and implement efficiencies throughout the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle across NHS Wales. We do this by maximising the use of new and existing technology and automating processes.
This business is delivered by 3 distinct functions:
1. Systems (including e-Catalogue Management)
2. Service Improvement and Developments (including training and communication)
3. Business Intelligence reporting and analytics.
Main Duties of the Job
This post will support the needs of the service by ensuring data quality standards are met and developing new and existing technologies to support the procure-to-pay service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is predominantly an administrative support to the team and it will include tasks such as monitoring processes, running reports, and analysing data.
This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic team whose primary aim is to make a direct positive impact on the purchasing and payment process in NHS Wales.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential Criteria:
* Educated to GCSE level including Maths & English (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Desirable Criteria:
* Professional Procurement/IT qualification i.e. CIPS, HND, HNC, ONC.
* Knowledge of e-Procurement and Financial Systems and reporting tools.
Experience
Essential Criteria:
* Experience of working across divisions and departments.
* Working as part of a team/supporting others.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of dealing with data management.
* Experience of working in both procurement and financial environments.
Skills and Attributes
Essential Criteria:
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Good verbal communication skills.
