Salary: Up to £56,000

Our client, a well-established nursing home, is seeking a Deputy Nurse Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. This role involves providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team while working closely with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations and enhance the quality of life for residents.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of two years’ experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or similar care setting.
* Registered General Nurse (Adult) with a valid license to practice.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with residents and families.
* Proficiency in IT systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies relevant to nursing home operations.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse nursing team.
* Understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of working in a nursing home environment.
Your Day-to-Day
* Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement care plans and policies tailored to residents' needs.
* Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
* Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
* Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to maintain high standards of care and resident satisfaction.
* Serve as a role model for clinical excellence and provide direct resident care when required.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the nursing team.
