Our client plays a critical role in designing and manufacturing high-performance polymer components for high-profile industry names like Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Boeing,and Safran.

Role: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing first-class engineering support to our manufacturing facility. Your leadership will be key in maintaining market-leading status by driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and a right-first-time culture.
Lead and develop the Process Engineering, Maintenance, Health & Safety, and Design teams
Manage engineering KPIs, ensuring manufacturing excellence and performance improvements
Implement risk management strategies to minimise downtime and optimise preventive maintenance
Play a key role in new product introductions, applying a risk-based thinking approach
Oversee facilities management and H&S initiatives, fostering a zero-accident culture
Act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, driving quality, cost, and delivery improvements
Strong Engineering / Manufacturing Management experience within a composite/polymer-based manufacturing environment
Sound understanding of lean process flow and factory layout optimisation
Confidence in managing engineering teams & working directly with customers/suppliers
Alternatively, candidates who have performed a Engineering / Manufacturing Managers role within a metallic machining environment but possess a degree in Material Science will also be considered***
