Due to long term sickness, a Counterbalance FLT Driver is required working Mon-Fri PM shifts for a leading logistics company in based at Manchester airport with free parking onsite, ongoing work available with set shifts Own transport is essential. Hours & Shifts: PM : 4pm-1am (1600-0100) – Monday to Friday with one hour unpaid break Pay Rate: £12 per hour overtime over 40 hours per week paid at x1.5 rate (£18.00 per hour)As FLT Driver you will report into the Shift Team Leader working in a clean, bright and modern warehouse environment undertaking any of the following duties: Loading and unloading vehicles Building and breaking down aircraft pallets (manual handling) Driving the FLT approx 30% of the time A performance driven operation with tight deadlines Involves manual handling and standing for long periods of time We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following: Valid and in date Counterbalance FLT License Warehouse Operative experience ideally Ability to work in a targeted environment Ability to stand for long periods of time, and be physically fit to manually lift heavy items Excellent attention to detail You will need your own form of transport due to no public transport will run at 1am from this location The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable 5 years worth of employment/ education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client.
