Overview:
As a Solutions Architect, you will be working with our customers and partners to architect solutions with our ZTNA Platform: Cloud Secure Edge and our MDR/XDR Offering: Managed Security Services. This role will also be a key contributor to enhancing SonicWall’s Managed Service Provider program by helping new and existing partners to grow their business within the SonicWall product portfolio.
Core responsibilities include driving positive client outcomes with the named products by nurturing current clients and aiding in driving net-new business. Both Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) and Managed Security Services (MSS) are rapidly growing offerings, and this role will play a critical role in that growth. In addition, you will be working closely with the engineering and PM teams and provide customer feedback to improve the product quality and usability, and play a key role in delivering unsurpassed support services, enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Key contributor to the overall success of the CSE and MSS product lines.
* Build a trusted advisor relationship with clients and partners.
* Lead the technical Pre-Sales and Post-Sales efforts from initial discovery and qualification, solution design, demo, proof of concept, bill of materials including scope of work for professional services.
* Proactively assess solutions in production and help customers and partners optimize and utilize licenses and features across their business.
* Focus on delivering the best possible user experience and ensure the products/services provide excellent value to the partners and customers.
* Identify new use cases within an existing customer or partner, building a deployment plan and supporting the rollout from a design perspective.
* Share best practices in design and deployments.
* Oversee critical escalations between customer, partner, and SonicWall.
* Share roadmap updates and collect feedback for product management, support, engineering, and sales leadership.
* Host quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders from SonicWall, partner, and customer.
* Provide and maintain quarterly reports on account health and expansion opportunities.
* Build the account to be referenceable.
* Work alongside sales account management to retain and grow the business.
* Participate in key co-sponsored events and webinars as technical champion and presenter.

* Remain current on new product developments and provide input and tactical direction on customer services and support challenges.
* Represent Support/Customers in cross-functional leadership meetings with Sales, Engineering, PM teams, and others to enhance the customer experience with products and services.
* Effectively communicate critical account issues' status to Sales, Engineering, PM Leadership, and other invested parties.
Desired Education and Experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Security Architect or Sr. Consultant.
* B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/MIS/Business or related field preferred.
* Prior experience managing customer/partner accounts from a technical perspective.
* Technical experience in the Cyber Security, Cloud, and Network Security Industry.
* Experience working with authentication protocols such as Kerberos, SAML, Radius, and OAuth.
* Strong knowledge of both public and private DNS.
* Knowledge of Network Security (Routers, Switches, firewalls, VPN routers).
* Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualization platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to execute requirements based on a SOW and project plans successfully.
* Background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies.
* Experience debugging broad, complex, and unique enterprise environments with mixed media and protocols.
* Strong experience leading complex enterprise projects using a structured approach.
* Excellent technical knowledge of Networking principles - TCP/IP, routing, DNS preferred.
* Strong experience architecting/designing enterprise solutions (application services, network or security).
