Head of Broker New Business
We are looking for a Head of Broker New Business to join our Canary Wharf-based Commercial team.
Reporting to the Head of Broker Distribution, you will be responsible for constructing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that is aligned with Company objectives, and steering and developing the sales team, helping them to close high quality new business and hit their annual targets.
What you will do:
- Performance and Salary Reviews
- Manage Commission Payments
- Steer and empower team to achieve new business budget
- Ensure sales team are actively engaged in prospecting
- Track and analyse conversation performance (by Staff and Broker)
- Meet and engage with Prospective Customers
- Maintain strong relationship with Brokers
- Strategise with Brokers
- Negotiate both internally and externally
- Manage corporate entertainment and budget
- Maintain management reports and use for strategic planning
- Drive innovation and change management
- Recruitment
- Training and development of staff
- Manage annual leave
- Support internal projects
What you will bring:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in a Financial/Sales environment
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Good understanding of Allianz Trade products and services
- Extensive knowledge of the Trade Credit Insurance market
- Strong Broker relationships
- Ability to create and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to collaborate with different departments
- Be innovative and able to find solutions for challenges.
- Full UK Driving Licence
