At Hood Group, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team. Established in 1983 and with over 40 years’ experience working across the insurance industry, the company aims to help its partners, including well-known household brands and high street retailers, such as John Lewis Partnership and Ticker Insurance to name a couple, to transform their insurance proposition by delivering innovative business models and products that enhance customer engagement and drive growth.
Actively generate new leads through innovative sales initiatives, fully leveraging our historical lead database and the wide range of enquiries we receive.
Manage the sales process end-to-end – from lead generation, client need analysis, appointment setting, pitch deck creation, leading ITT/RFP processes, to finalising deals and closing sales.
Work closely with the Travel Director to align strategies and enhance business growth. Collaborate with various teams to ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving business objectives.
High energy levels and a relentless pursuit of new business opportunities.
Strong interest and understanding of insurance solutions, particularly in outsourced insurance propositions, including white-labelled and co-branded options.
