This is a rewarding and fast-paced role where you’ll be primarily making outbound calls to non-fault third-party claimants to understand their needs, promote our approved repair and mobility services. By doing so, you’ll play a key part in controlling costs and enhancing our reputation as a trusted insurer. A key part of your role will be displaying empathy and professionalism in every interaction, helping individuals who may be experiencing inconvenience or distress. You’ll build rapport, handle objections confidently, and clearly explain the benefits of using NFU Mutual’s trusted supplier network. You’ll handle the deployment of services from our approved network swiftly and efficiently, ensuring customers receive timely and effective support. Through clear communication, you’ll explain the claims process, helping customers feel informed and reassured throughout. By securing engagement with our services, you’ll help to reduce subrogation costs, control overall claims spend, and protect the integrity of our brand. You’ll also have the opportunity to promote NFU Mutual’s values and services, contributing to future sales opportunities and reinforcing our strong brand presence. Collaboration and teamwork is essential in this role, and you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, as well as with external partners and suppliers, to ensure objectives are delivered smoothly. You’ll be confident in identifying and resolving complaints or concerns and will escalate issues where necessary to maintain our high standards of service. This is a target-driven role, and you’ll be motivated to meet individual and team performance goals while maintaining our market-leading customer service. Working Hours: We’re offering you a 35-hour week with shift patterns running from Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm and one Saturday every 6 weeks 9am to 2pm. On weeks with a Saturday, you’ll receive a rest day in the week. We offer a hybrid working model which means that once you’ve completed training in the office every day, you can work from the comfort of your own home for up to 80% of the time.About youYou’re customer-focused with recent experience in either Third Party Assist /Capture claims handling, motor claims handling, or outbound sales within insurance or financial services. You enjoy engaging with people over the phone, handling objections with empathy and professionalism, and finding solutions that benefit both the customer and the business. Comfortable working to targets, you bring a proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership to everything you do.
