The opportunity
As an Asset Manager, you'll take the lead in overseeing renewable assets on behalf of investors, making sure they perform in line with the business plan. Working closely with O&M teams, you'll focus on optimising performance and returns while always looking for ways to improve. This role is a great mix of operational, commercial, and financial responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of technologies and make a real impact in the renewable energy space.
As Asset Manager you will be dedicated to offshore wind assets, overseeing the performance, optimization, and long-term value of EDF Renewables' offshore wind portfolio.

What you'll be doing
As an Asset Manager, you'll be at the heart of driving performance, ensuring our renewable energy assets deliver maximum value while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role is all about optimising operations, tackling challenges head-on, and making a real impact in the renewables sector.
* Keep everything running smoothly - Ensure full compliance with all commercial agreements while maintaining strong relationships with investors, OEMs, Independent Engineers, and landowners.
* Maximise performance - Work closely with O&M and OEM teams to track, challenge, and improve operational performance, pushing for the highest possible generation availability.
* Stay on top of the numbers - Manage forecasts, budgets, variance reports, and key financial and operational data for your assigned sites.
* Define best practices - Develop and refine processes and procedures that set the standard for asset management excellence.
* Support new projects - Collaborate with project teams during development to ensure smooth transitions from implementation to full commercial operation, making sure everything is completed on time and to spec.
* Problem-solving pro - Work across departments to troubleshoot operational, financial, commercial, or technical issues, ensuring seamless collaboration.
* Drive optimisation - Partner with internal teams (Performance, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Development, and O&M) to enhance major repairs, investment planning, and asset life extensions.
* Own the financials - Take full Profit & Loss responsibility for assigned renewable energy assets.
* Deliver insights - Ensure accurate and timely reporting across the portfolio to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
* Ensure valuations are accurate, consistent, and timely by managing valuation models and processes.
* Support the design and implementation of asset management IT systems.
* Maintain efficient data management systems.
* Oversee a strong audit programme across all activities.
* Review monthly O&M reports and ensure compliance with insurance policies.
* Manage contractual compliance, including Trade Point Control & Power Purchase Agreements, and take action when needed (e.g., warranty claims).
* Assist the Development team with asset acquisitions and origination.

What You'll Bring:
* Experience & Expertise - Degree in Engineering or Business with 2+ years in asset management within energy, advisory, or investment.
* Analytical Mindset - Strong numeracy, data analytics, and problem-solving skills.
* Great Communicator - Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* Team Player - Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn.
* Industry Knowledge - Understanding of energy markets, policies, and renewable applications.
* Tech & Project Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in project management or financing.
