Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Digital Coordinator to work with Murphy Applied Engineering in Kentish Town.

They design both permanent and temporary works for projects in all our locations and are a trusted source of expert advice for both Murphy colleagues and external customers.
A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Digital Coordinator
1. Act as the single point of contact for Digital Engineering on multiple projects within a business unit/sector, supervising and taking responsibility for the co-ordination, production, checking and approval of information/models between lead appointed party.
2. Work as an integral part of the project team supporting the implementation of new Digital Engineering practices identified within the project scope.
3. Mobilise and onboard project teams onto digital systems and solutions.
4. Work with the GIS manager in establishing a Project GIS Execution Plan and review regularly with support from the Murphy digital team and project teams.
5. Support group best practice, test, prove and support the implementation of well governed initiatives within the project with respect to authoring, collaboration, validation, and field technology/workflow.
6. Support the adoption of the project Common Data Environment and workflows in line with the project information management plan.
7. Establish a Project BIM Execution Plan and review regularly with support from the Murphy digital team and project teams.
8. Technical review of consultant and supplier’s proposals against the required project standards.
9. Conduct regular inspections/audits to ensure compliance and promote timely understanding.
10. Conduct Digital Health Checks on projects, reporting monthly to project team, escalating issues appropriately.
11. Conduct or support suppliers with clash detection on the projects and produce reports for issue resolution, reporting monthly to project team, escalating issues appropriately.
12. Review Digital Health Check statistics within the areas of the project to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Still interested, does this sound like you?
1. Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 BIM workflows.
2. Experience of data management software.
3. Knowledge of GIS packages such as QGIS and Esri.
4. Working knowledge of data analytics and FME.
5. Previous experience with an infrastructure background covering rail, water and power.
