Rate of Pay: £20.64 - £28.40 per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families team. The post holder will work directly with children, young people, and their families to provide support, safeguard welfare, promote wellbeing, and enable positive outcomes through direct intervention, advocacy, and multi-agency collaboration.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of children and family cases, ensuring the provision of quality assessments and care plans.
* Undertake child protection investigations, risk assessments, and formulate safeguarding plans.
* Support children and families in crisis situations and advocate for their needs in multi-agency environments.
* Participate in court work, including preparing reports and giving evidence.
* Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and carers to ensure appropriate support services are in place.
Qualifications:
* Recognised Social Work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Registered with [Relevant Regulatory Body, e.g., Social Work England].
* Evidence of continued professional development.
Experience Required:
* Experience in statutory childrens social care settings.
* Proven record of managing complex cases independently.
* Working knowledge of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and practice.
* Experience in court work, report writing, and giving evidence.
