To assist with the preparation for, and running of a research workshop bringing together academics and practitioners. The workshop focuses on food and housing associations, and is scheduled for 22nd May in Pontypridd.
The assistant will support the event by:
1. administration of registration and attendee information
2. assisting with event set up
3. attending workshop to take notes and assist with logistics
4. assist with writing up discussion
5. administration of follow-up correspondence.
Assistance will be required from 5 May - 6 June with a total of 18 hours to be worked across this period. Working pattern and weekly hours of work will be flexible, and agreed in advance between the assistant and line manager.
Person Specification
1. highly organised
2. self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
3. excellent written and oral communication skills
4. able to take notes of group discussions
5. interested in the topic of food sustainability
6. interested to gain experience of research impact events.
