Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will:
1. Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance, maintaining high levels of reliability and availability.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to prevent operational interruptions, working closely with maintenance teams.
3. Conduct mechanical and electrical isolations, ensuring compliance with site safety rules and environmental regulations.
4. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
5. Assist in emergency response procedures and ensure the safe application of work processes on-site.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
1. Experience within a process industry, ideally in power generation or similar sectors.
2. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
3. Knowledge of plant operations best practices and safety standards.
4. IOSH or NEBOSH desirable.
