Job Summary: The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for assessing and providing guidance to a group of individual businesses to ensure the security of their information systems and data. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect against cyber threats, conducting security assessments and audits, and collaborating with stakeholders at Business Unit, Group and Portfolio levels to ensure continuous and proactive improvements in response to the ever-changing threat landscape. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Assess autonomous business units against a baseline of critical security controls. Track remediation of security gaps in each business and provide as much guidance and assistance as needed to mitigate associated risk. Respond to security incidents in conjunction with IT/Security/Legal teams with assistance that could entail containment, identification of root cause, recovery activities etc. Assist in the development of security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist in the integration of newly acquired businesses which would include the deployment of mandated security tools as well as training and guidance for local IT/Security teams. Assess trends in current security threats and how they coincide with known control gaps in our businesses. Develop solutions and guidance that can remediate critical controls across the wider group of businesses. Stay current on the latest cyber threats and security best practices, and contribute to education sessions that may include but not limited to; Business Leaders, IT/Security Leaders, Legal etc. Collaborate with businesses to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR etc. Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in a security engineering role Strong knowledge of security technologies and concepts, such as Identity Management, SIEM, Encryption, Vulnerability Management, Secure Coding Standards etc. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations, such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and incident response Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are a plus. Experience in delivering metrics and reporting through PowerBI, are a plus. Must be able to travel globally up to 25%.
