Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated team player to join our multi-functional, customer-facing logistics team as a full-time Logistics Support Worker based at Poole Hospital. As part of this team, the post holder may undertake a variety of duties to ensure the efficient execution of supply chain processes for the Trust.
Working across three areas, the responsibilities include:
1. Delivering linen to the wards and departments.
2. Checking and signing for deliveries in Goods In.
3. Delivering parcel orders to various wards and departments.
4. Collecting and delivering mail in the Post Room.
Working Hours
Saturday morning working will be required on a rota basis. Hours are 08:00-16:00 with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work as required.
Base Location: Poole Hospital

Person Specification
Knowledge (Essential)
Knowledge of logistics processes including but not limited to goods handling, receipting, basic stock control, and delivery processes gained through previous experience/training.
Qualifications (Essential)
Must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience (Essential)
Team working experience.
Skills (Essential)
Basic IT skills to use electronic systems for daily activities, training, and information. Able to follow standard operating procedures.
Skills (Desirable)
Intermediate IT skills including the use of MS Excel & MS Word.
