Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in Early Years? Hawes Down Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Class Teacher to lead our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. The Role: We are looking for an experienced teacher who is confident in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community and participate in our continuous drive for excellence. The role will involve leading the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Early Years team to provide a high-quality, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
· Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support the development of all children
· Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
· Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
· Maintain a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the wellbeing of every child
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education
· Proven experience in a primary school setting
· Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
· Excellent classroom management skills
· A commitment to the wellbeing and development of every child
· Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable:
· Experience in leading Early Years Foundation Stage
· Strong ICT skills to support teaching and learning
