Experience is essential as the role requires independent reporting on scans, however some training may be available to develop your skills. Main duties of the job To provide a high quality ultrasound service with comprehensive independently written reports. The department provides a range of ultrasound examinations on patients with multiple complex pathologies. Scans performed include: Upper abdominal Renal Gynaecology Obstetrics Small parts MSK DVTs Carotids It is not expected that an individual will have all of the necessary expertise however further training may be available to successful candidates.
