What You'll Be Doing:
1. Provide Expert Care: Use your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical and podiatric conditions, including high-risk diabetic foot care and nail surgery.
2. Autonomous Practice: Work independently, using your advanced skills and knowledge to create and implement tailored treatment plans, while being part of a supportive and collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
3. Stay Hands-On: Apply your skills and precision in delivering specialized treatments that require a high degree of manual dexterity and precision.
4. Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing professional development, stay updated with the latest research and audit findings, and use your analytical skills to tackle complex conditions.
What We're Looking For:
1. Qualifications: A Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine, HCPC registration, and a Certificate in Local Anaesthesia.
2. Experience: A solid background in podiatry, with specialist experience in various treatment modalities, managing high-risk diabetic patients, and performing nail surgery. Experience in biomechanics and orthotics is a bonus!
3. Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to work well both independently and as part of a team. A valid UK driving license is essential.
