Business Unit: Model Risk Analytics
Location: UK Flexible (expectation to attend a local HUB 1x per month & attend offsites, 3/4 x per year)

As an IFRS 9 Senior Modelling Analyst you'll for providing analytics for model developments as well as in maintenance of current models. The team’s focus is on the development, validation, management and monitoring of our models and providing first class support to our stakeholders across Risk and Finance.
Support, maintain and develop regular processes including monitoring, calibrations, annual reviews and quarterly economic model refreshes for Business Banking.
Provide analytics to help scope, design, develop, validate and implement credit risk models, in line with Bank standards and regulatory expectations
Complete analysis on provision models currently in operation to ensure they remain fit for purpose and identifying potential enhancements to modelling suites
Participate in team and wider network discussions across the Bank.
Practical experience of extracting, interpreting, and presenting complex data (ideally using SAS or SQL)
Experience of Credit Risk Modelling techniques (IFRS9/Stress Testing/IRB)
A degree in a numerate discipline subject (e.g. statistics, maths, engineering, econometrics), including knowledge of time series analysis
A solid foundation in the use of relevant statistical programming packages (e.g. SAS, Python, or R)
An understanding of standard Credit Risk Modelling techniques (IRB/IFRS9 or Stress Testing)
Experience in using MS Office software to create documents and presentations (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
