Lead Maintenance Engineer / Deputy Team Leader | Commercial Building Services / FM | £45,000 + Package | Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Due to increased contract demand, we are currently seeing a Lead Maintenance Engineer / Deputy Team Leader to join our FM / Building Services team, delivering Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Maintenance services across a large commercial environment based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
As the Lead Maintenance Engineer / Deputy Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting in both supervisory and hands on engineering duties within a large FM / M&E Maintenance Team.

* Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Duties:
* Assisting the hands on engineering team and offering technical assistance to engineers.
* Issuing permits to work, checking RAMS and ensuring full compliance from in-house engineers and sub-contractors.
* Ensuring engineers leave detailed job notes / remedial reports.
* Hands on Maintenance duties when required.
* Assisting the on-site Maintenance Supervisor / becoming the Contract Supervisor in their absence.
Requirements:
* Must be qualified in an Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC disipline, ie: NVQ / City and Guilds in Electrical Installation OR Mechanical Engineering OR Air Conditioning OR Plumbing and Heating etc.
* Must have experience working within the commercial building services / fm industry.
* Must have a strong understanding of all-round building services.
