Main duties of the job
About the Role
As part of the Corporate Services Estates and Facilities team delivering services across both the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, you will:
* Manage residential accommodation to ensure maximum efficiency, availability, and accessibility.
* Provide advice and guidance to prospective and existing tenants on a variety of accommodation issues.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including HR, Facilities Management, and Security, to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to tenants.
* Manage accommodation finances, including rent collection, invoicing, and purchasing.
* Lead by example with on-site visibility and leadership, fostering a supportive and effective working environment.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Skills & Knowledge
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) and knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage data and prepare reports.
* Familiarity with accommodation management services, including booking systems, tenant management, and maintenance coordination.
