Plant & Tool Hire Technician
Exciting news—our brand-new location in Flint is set to open in early 2025!
As part of our expansion, we’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Hire Controller to join the team at this cutting-edge Depot. At HIREBASE, we take pride in offering an extensive range of top-quality plant and tool hire, designed to meet the needs of everyone—from skilled tradespeople to DIY enthusiasts and self-builders. With over 90 branches across the nation and big plans for future growth, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals who are ready to be a part of our exciting journey!
What will I be doing?
* Assist with deliveries & collections.
* Support with testing & running equipment, which includes preparing and maintaining equipment, keeping machinery clean and in working condition.
* Keep all hire fleet maintenance records up to date and organized, ensuring we are always ready to deliver the best service.
* Maintain the Depot and Workshop, ensuring they are spotless, tidy, and safe to create an efficient working environment.
* Assist the Hire Manager with annual stock takes, audits, and various report-based activities.
* Proactively safeguard our company’s assets and prevent theft to ensure a safe and trusted environment for our operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service, assisting our customers in person at the Depot or over the phone with energy and enthusiasm.
* Deliver outstanding customer service every time, ensuring our customers leave satisfied and eager to return!
Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8am-12pm
