Before and after school childcare workers
Location: Warwick, Coten End School
Contract: Part time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7.30am – 9am and 14.45 pm – 17.15 pm (20 hours per week, Term time only). (Negotiable)
Pay: We offer a competitive salary above the national minimum wage. Pay rates are dependent on experience. We are committed to ensuring that our staff are fairly compensated for their dedication and hard work. Further details about salary will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team at a well-established Before and After School Club based at Coten End Primary School in Warwick. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the local community by providing reliable, high-quality childcare that enables parents to return to work with peace of mind. Your main responsibilities
Supervising and engaging with children
Supervise children during morning and afternoon sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Organise and facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities to engage children and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Assisting with daily routines
Helping with snack times, and bathroom breaks, ensuring children follow established schedules and promoting healthy habits.
Maintaining a clean and organised environment
Keeping areas tidy, including cleaning toys and equipment, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for children.
Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
Collaborate with other childcare staff to exchange information about children, as well as communicate with parents regarding daily updates, concerns and milestones.
Desirable qualifications
While no specific qualifications are required, the following are advantageous:
• First Aid and Safeguarding training for children
• Experience working with primary school aged children
• Level 2 food safety certificate
• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare or play work
