From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Collections and Recoveries Executive to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

As a Collections and Recoveries Executive, you will play a key role in helping the business maintain its financial health by identifying customers who have missed payments or may be getting close to that point (bad debt) and then work closely with those customers to minimise this. You’ll work together with customers to develop options that work for both the customer and the business.
Role responsibilities;
* Maintain and administer a portfolio of customers who have missed payments, with the aim of collecting payments, setting up plans and getting customer payments back on track.
* Negotiate, and discuss options with customers and equipment suppliers in respect of arrears.
* Work with your line manager on more complex cases to develop plans to support customers, this may include forbearance, rescheduling of payments, writing off charges etc.
* With training on our legal options, you’ll understand what options to take if a customer does not pay and make recommendations to your line manager on terminations.
* With training, differentiate between regulated and unregulated customers and act accordingly.
* Work towards targets, deadline, and quality standards.
* Remain vigilant to potential fraudulent customer activity.
* Assist management with reporting and case summaries where required.
Key skills required;
* Previous collections and recoveries experience
* Ability to work in a high volume, pressured environment whilst managing priorities
* Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the Newport office, giving you the best of both worlds. You will be required to be in the office 5 days per week for the first three months for your training.
