Job Title: Welsh-Speaking Classroom Assistant

Hours: Full-time (08:30 – 15:30)
Pay: £83-90 per day (paid weekly)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Welsh-speaking Classroom Assistant to join a vibrant Welsh-medium school in the heart of Cardiff. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and thrive in a fast-paced classroom environment.

A proactive individual who can support teachers and lead small group sessions focusing on basic Welsh language and numeracy skills.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✔ Experience working with young people in a classroom or community setting.
✔ A team-player mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
✔ A calm, adaptable and supportive approach.
✔ An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with their work.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to children who need extra help.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day.
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
