Job summary Full time 37.5 HRS - Working out of a variety of bases and patients homes, across Coventry Out of Hospital setting, this service operates from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. We currently have vacancies within our Wound Healing Service. We are a specialist Wound Service focusing on Hard to Heal wounds, working with each patient on realistic goals depending on their wound healing potential. We deliver advanced wound healing treatments within patients own home or residential/nursing home and within a clinic setting for ambulatory patients. We also work alongside Practice Nurses, Community Nurses and nursing homes offering lots of variety to the role with imparting wound care knowledge across the community. The role involves working within a variety of settings including clinic, community or residential home settings depending on the patient's needs, delivering advanced wound healing interventions.To work as an engaged member of the Wound Healing Service to provide effective evidence based Wound healing treatments and advice to patients who attend the Wound Healing Service. Main duties of the job Providing appropriately delegated care to patients receiving care within the designated service as directed by an RGN in line with the staff member's competence.
