Job summary We are currently looking for someone to join us as an Art Therapist and Life Celebration Co-ordinator, this is a part time role (22.5 hours per week) and is on a fixed term basis for 6 months. This role is part of the Patient and Family Support team and will work across the Charitys services to assess the psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and family members and implement and oversee suitable creative therapeutic interventions, with a focus on visual arts and life celebration/reminiscence work. Main duties of the job Main duties will include: Working with patients and families to identify their therapeutic goals To support patients and family members who access our Hospice services to create life celebration work through a range of different media e.g. letters to family, memory boxes etc. To hold own caseload of creative therapy referrals and supervise volunteers and students to deliver interventions To support patients and family members who access our Hospice services to create life celebration work through a range of different media. To work with the Bereavement Lead to develop bereavement support services for children and young people.
