SEO Managers are leaders within the Search team, line managing up to 2 SEO Analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for creating advanced SEO strategies that are tailored to our client’s needs. You’ll be highly visible with our clients and the one that has the plan to deliver against their objectives. You’ll develop and brief work for the more junior members of the team and review all output to ensure it meets the high standards we have at iCrossing, as well taking on the most complex projects yourself.
This is a full-time role and requires 2 days per week in the office (Brighton/Cardiff/London).
What you’ll do
1. Create enterprise-level SEO strategies for our clients to deliver against objectives
2. Create and brief a pipeline of SEO tasks to develop an account with fresh ideas and thinking
3. Lead client meetings and calls as the SEO lead on the account
4. Keep up to date with search news, and share opinions on industry developments within the team and with clients, providing your viewpoint of changes
5. Personal development of your team (if applicable) including 121s and the creation of Personal Development plans
6. Mentor your team (if applicable) to ensure that they develop a wealth of experience within SEO and Search
7. Resolve personal and professional challenges that may occur within your team
8. QA of all analyst output to ensure it meets the high standards that iCrossing expect
9. Provide top-level insights to clients on current performance and areas to grow in the future
10. Participate in a virtual team within iCrossing to develop a niche area of Search, including the creation of new processes, templates and deliverables as well as best practice
11. Galvanise the Search team with your prior knowledge, fresh thoughts and enthusiasm
12. Lead the up selling of existing clients with additional services and solutions
13. Work on-site with clients to assist in building trust and relationships with SEO managers client side
14. Contribute to pitch material and, in some cases, attending pitches
15. Lead training sessions and present case studies internally
16. Work with a PPC counterpart either internally or at a third-party agency to drive Total Search results for our clients

18. You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time
We want to see your drive and enthusiasm for a dynamic SEO landscape and forming SEO strategy to maximise client results. In addition to this, we’re looking for someone who has/is:
19. proven team leader with the ability to mentor, assist and develop any analysts within your team
20. the ability to create industry-leading SEO strategies for our clients
21. experience of developing the ways of working and processes within an SEO team.
22. extensive knowledge of technical optimisation, content optimisation, link management, data analysis and SEO tools
23. an expert in advanced keyword research techniques such as question-based searches, semantic search and search beyond just conversion point queries
24. experience of delivering SEO results for clients with your SEO strategies
25. worked with PPC experts to develop overall search strategies to holistically benefit clients.
26. strong oral & written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
27. exceptional time-management skills
28. ideally, you’ll be AdWords certified – to assist in the understanding all aspects of the search channel
29. the ability to receive constructive feedback but also can give constructive feedback out other team members
30. confident public speaker with the ability to present both internally and to clients
31. a strong grasp of many different third-party SEO tools and analytics packages
