Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Bid Solutions Manager to join our Complex Facilities FM, projects and decarbonisation services Work Winning team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role split between home working and the regular need to attend meetings and workshops in various Amey national offices. Sites can vary but most meetings take place in either our Birmingham or London offices.
Reporting to the Amey Complex Facilities Work Winning Director, this role will be an integral member of the Work Winning Team. The new post will work alongside Bid Managers, Writers and Operational SMEs to develop high quality H&S delivery solutions aligned to client specifications and tender requirements which contribute to successful growth for the Complex Facilities business.
Amey Complex Facilities delivers a range of Hard & Soft Facilities Management, Projects and Decarbonisation services to public sector clients across the UK. This includes working in complex and critical environments where the safety of our people, our clients and the wider public is paramount. The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:
1. Adding value to the Work Winning team through directly developing innovative and industry leading Health and Safety solutions aligned to customer needs and ensuring these are conveyed within bid responses and customer presentations.
2. Expanding your knowledge and competence of all areas of health, safety, environment and assurance in order to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all HSEQ matters.
3. Demonstrating forward-thinking in line with business needs.
4. Actively participating in bid meetings and solutioning workshops.
5. Writing clear, concise and high-quality bid responses, supported by the bid writing and graphics team. Ensure all bid deadlines are met and that work is of a high standard.
6. Working closely with the wider HSEQ teams across CF and the Amey business to develop a detailed understanding of best practice.
7. Analysing information and data provided within Invitations to Tender to understand customer needs and develop compliant solutions.
8. Highlighting areas of HSEQ strength and best practice across CF and the wider Amey business and facilitating the writing of case studies to support evidencing of Amey capability within bids.
We want to hear from you if you have:
1. A minimum of an IOSH qualification.
2. Extensive experience in working within high-performing teams.
3. Experience in producing written bid responses, reports and presentations.
4. The ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all different levels.
