IMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting business in Glenrothes who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant, a quick learner, to join the team on a 3-month temporary basis.
This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week, on a hybrid work set up and starts immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the month-end process to ensure it is completed efficiently and accurately, meeting reporting timetables.
* Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Support cashflow forecasting processes and reporting, ensuring all figures are updated and accurate.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, delivering insights into key performance indicators.
* Oversee the management of fixed assets, including capital investments, approvals, disposals, and maintaining asset records.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking prepayments and provisions, while identifying and addressing any risks or opportunities.
* Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with relevant finance or accounting experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
* Experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant legislation.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Experience with ERP systems and other financial software.
* Analytical skills with the ability to identify insights and trends in financial data.
