Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced M&E Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical service packages across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing M&E contracts, including ductwork, ventilation, and wider building services installations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, growing business in a senior operational position. The successful candidate will deployed on teh new Birmingham Station for HS2 - a huge ductwork project. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the management and delivery of multiple M&E contracts from pre-construction through to final handover. Manage project programmes, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specification and safety standards. Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Lead contract negotiations, valuations, variations, and ensure all commercial and contractual obligations are met. Coordinate with procurement, site management, and design teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Monitor site progress, attend progress meetings, and ensure effective reporting to senior management. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all projects. Support business development activities and tendering processes when required. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in an M&E Contracts Manager role within the building services, mechanical services, or HVAC sectors. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, including ventilation, ductwork, and associated systems. Excellent leadership, organisational, and commercial management skills. Experience in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships. Relevant industry qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering preferred). SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates desirable
