Salary: £26,121 - £26,750 per annum

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day.
52 weeks per annum, paid for 43.13 weeks per annum.

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised Construction Instructor/Technician to join our thriving team at the Construction Skills Centre, Abingdon Campus. As our department continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated individual passionate about working in the education sector and supporting students in developing practical construction skills.
We are looking for someone who is qualified to a minimum of level 2 in a recognised construction trade. A requirement is that you are willing to support across all the trade areas we offer, including plumbing, electrical installation, and wood trades, for which training and support will be provided. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are a good communicator and enthusiastic about working in the Education sector.
Main Duties:
1. Supporting the teachers in the workshop developing students' practical skills.
2. Supervising students.
3. Ordering materials and stock taking.
4. General duties to ensure the workshops are kept to a high standard.
It is essential you are able to work within a team. The ideal candidate will be confident and must enjoy working with students of all ages, especially those aged 16-18.
