Credit Controller Background: We are an established property management company based in New Malden Surrey KT3 currently managing residential buildings.The company is looking for an enthusiastic credit controller required to join our existing property team who is willing to develop and grow within the company. Duties: Chase leaseholders/debtors/management companies for payments Resolve issues and disputes including buildings insurance disputes. Undertake routine credit administration tasks i.e., send reminders. Ability to read leases and interpret relevant clauses. Develop and maintain good working relationships with the client and their agents. Update and maintain leaseholder records. Prepare quarterly reports as and when required by the Manager/Director Send final reminders to defaulting leaseholders. Liaise with debt collection company and solicitors in recovering debts. Undertake adhoc instructions from the Manager Knowledge/skills/attributes: Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload. Strong communication skills Able to demonstrate experience in liaising pro-actively with third parties. Ability to work to tight deadlines accurately. Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills Team player and be able to take independent decisions. Understanding of landlord and tenant acts and common hold leasehold reform acts will be useful but not necessary as training will be provided.
