An exciting Deputy Charge Nurse opportunity has arisen in Fraser Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital. This is a permanent band 6 position of 37 hours per week (full time).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is keen to develop their leadership skills in Adult Mental Health. The individual must possess sound clinical knowledge and be motivated to provide evidence based, person centred care to patients experiencing acute mental health illness. The post holder will support the Senior Charge Nurse to provide innovative leadership to the nursing team, whilst working within the wider multidisciplinary team.
Fraser Ward is an Acute Adult Mental Health ward, looking after patients who are aged 18-65 from Aberdeenshire. The ward also accepts CAMHS admissions and works closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for patients.
The post holder should have experience in a leadership role, with an awareness of current drivers and legislation relating to patient care within this field of nursing. The post holder must have an NMC registration, and an eagerness to support the nursing team to meet the demands of our busy service.
